4/26 Cholesterol: The Wild Red Herring

On Thursday, 4/26/12, David Harder will be doing a presentation on “Cholesterol: The Wild Red Herring” at the United Steelworkers Hall, 53 East Lehigh Street (just north of the New Street/Fahy Bridge), Bethlehem. Doors open at 6:30pm. The presentation begins at 7. Free admission (donations welcome).

This event is the featured program of the April quarterly meeting of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of The Weston A Price Foundation®, a nonprofit organization.

About the event:

When your blood cholesterol numbers are on the rise it is difficult to ignore your doctor’s recommendations. Should you? If cholesterol isn’t the reason that heart disease is the number one cause of death in this country, what is?

David Harder is a Registered Herbalist with the American Herbalist Guild and their treasurer. He practices clinical herbalism at 143 Northampton Street in Easton PA. He is active as an educator in his community, co-founder of “Herbal Exchange”, the NJ AHG Chapter, and “Changewater Wellness Center”, a clinic that provides clinical experience to advanced herbal students, while serving individuals needing low cost counsel and herbs. He and his wife Linda have owned and operated Nature’s Way, a natural foods store in Easton, since 1975.


Local producers may bring grass-fed, organic, and/or biodynamic products for sampling or sale. Attendees can check out the produce tables before and after the presentation (bring your coolers!). Books & videos will also be available.

Ample on-site parking lot is accessible from Center St (at the equivalent of 315 Center St if you’re googling).
