1/26/17 – Fabulous Fats

A screening of Certified Nutrition Educator Mary Toscano’s DVD on ‘Fabulous Fats’, at the United Steelworkers Hall, Bethlehem, is the featured presentation at the Winter 2017 meeting of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of The Weston A. Price Foundation. Doors open at 6:30pm. The presentation begins at 7. Free admission (donations invited). Ample on-site parking lot is accessible from Center St (at the equivalent of 315 Center St).

About the Presentation

In this dynamic, musical and highly visual talk, Mary Toscano takes a complicated, confusing subject and makes it accessible. Discover the vital role fats play in feeling energized, slim, and strong. See which fats are essential for the heart, brain, eyes, and reducing painful inflammation. Discover which fats help with joint pain, arthritis, memory, and mood swings and which damaged fats must be avoided!

The presentation covers low-fat and no-fat myths including: where the low fat diet goes wrong, discover  wrong way you may be getting saturated fat, learn how good fats make you thin. Get knowledge you can apply immediately with this entertaining educational video.

Also at the event:

Local producers may bring grass-fed, organic, and/or biodynamic products for sampling or sale. Attendees can check out the produce tables before and after the presentation (bring your coolers!). Books & videos will also be available.
