10-25-2018 Dr. Don Joergens: “More than Molecules, the Rise of the Brain in Healing Life”

Please join us for Dr. Don Joergens’ “More than Molecules, the Rise of the Brain in Healing Life” presentation at the Fall meeting of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation on Thursday, 10/25/2018, at the United Steelworkers Hall in Bethlehem (enter via the large parking lot in rear at the equivalent of 316 Center St). Doors open at 6:30 pm. As is our practice, our quarterly meetings are free.

About the Presentation

Experts and lay people alike have been looking at the story of human health and wellness not knowing they’ve read only half the book. Using examples such as adrenal insufficiency, S.A.D. States (Stress / Anxiety / Depression), autoimmunity, hypertension, and more, Dr. Joergens will reveal the key missing chapters in assessing and restoring the human being.

Since nutrition became a science, everyone from dietitians and experts to world leaders in functional medicine/functional nutrition have only looked to the deficits, actions and genetic expressions of the molecules that create and make the body perform or decline into dysfunction and illness. With understanding of a more powerful operational model of the brain, the synergistic symphony between neuron and molecule comes into distinct, sharp focus. This perspective allows for a far more evocative and comprehensive approach to correcting the whole issues that make humans less when they can become so much more.

About Dr. Donald Joergens D.C., FBT

Dr. Don is and has been an innovative thinker for over 25 years. Born and raised under his parents’ humble roof in Staten Island, New York, he has acquired enormous knowledge and experience allowing notable levels of expertise, innovation, and invention in the areas of chiropractic medicine, human diagnosis (both traditional and functional), physical and brain-based rehabilitation, metabolism, functional nutrition, proprietary developments within fitness, exercise, human movement, and life transformation design. His proprietary developments and patent using the discoveries of cutting-edge functional neuroscience reflect his powerful belief and vision in the inclusion of functional brain-based methods to potentiate the lives of all people.

He has developed original work within the realm of human movement as well, and is also the developer of the Wellth model (Wellness + Health=Wellth), a gateway perspective for the future of integrative healthcare and wellness adoption, understanding, and most importantly achievement.

Dr. Don had been a Doctor of Chiropractic for over a dozen years until he came across what he believed to be the new standard in assessing, changing and healing the human being. This innovative use of functional neuroscience revealed a new future for humankind in his mind. From chiropractors to acupuncturists and from physical/occupational therapists to psychotherapy, he realized this was the source model of understanding why the various therapies work. An adjustment to the spine, a stretch of muscle, the thin filament needles of acupuncture, exercise, aromatherapy, massage, and even the talk therapy of psychology are all converging and acting upon the brain. How they change, even transform the brain, can be made exponentially greater, through this model, in healing the body.
