1-24-2019 Tedd Koren, DC: “Cancer is Natural, So is the Cure”

Please join us for Tedd Koren, DC’s “Cancer is Natural, So is the Cure” presentation at the Winter meeting of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation on Thursday, 1/24/2019, at the United Steelworkers Hall in Bethlehem (enter via the large parking lot in rear at the equivalent of 316 Center St). Doors open at 6:30 pm. As is our practice, our quarterly meetings are free.

About the Presentation

Dr. Tedd Koren will address the question he has heard and in fact written about in his article in the Weston A. Price Foundation (WAPF) Quarterly, “Why Did God Create Cancer?” (click to see it). He will look at the causes and true cures of cancer and other chronic illnesses.

A quote from the article to indicate the thrust of his argument:

“. . . when we foolish humans repeatedly poison ourselves (often unknowingly) and do things that interfere with our body’s natural ability to detoxify that this protective mechanism breaks down. Tumors are defense mechanisms designed to keep us alive. If we are able to recognize the fact that cancer is a symptom of a generalized, whole-body condition, then it is clear that tumors are the result rather than the cause of the problem.”

Koren spoke at length about these matters at the WAPF Annual Conference in Baltimore this past November, including both an all-day track on Self-Healing as well as a presentation on the topic he will be presenting here.

About the speaker, Tedd Koren, DC

Tedd graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina, in 1977. He practiced as a chiropractor in Philadelphia, and helped found the (now defunct) Pennsylvania College of Chiropractic. Koren publishes brochures under the name Koren Publications which is one of the most prolific publishers of chiropractic literature. His publications cover over 60 topics related to chiropractic care, with titles such as Allergies, Asthma & Emphysema, Blood Pressure, and more.

He created the Koren Specific Technique (KST) around 2004. Koren said he originated KST after practicing on himself to relieve his own pain. Koren wrote on his website that “KST is an analysis protocol not a chiropractic technique.” He resides in Hatfield, Pennsylvania.

7/27/17 – Krisztina Powell: “Lessons in Lyme Disease”

Krisztina Powell, CNC, LSHC, HHP, is a certified nutrition coach and homeopathic practitioner. She will discuss her work on Lyme disease at the Summer meeting of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation, Thursday, 7/27/17, 6:30-9pm, at the United Steelworkers Hall, Bethlehem, PA (enter via the large parking lot in rear at the equivalent of 316 Center St).

About the Presentation

When her second child contracted Lyme disease at the age of 5, it turned out to be a life changing experience for this mother of two. Her daughter, Natalie developed a bullseye rash after the initial tick bite. She was treated with antibiotics for a month but unfortunately remained ill. After exhausting the options of conventional medicine for Lyme disease and seeing no progress, Krisztina turned to her knowledge of homeopathy.

Combining her knowledge of nutrition and homeopathy with the principles of homotoxicology she was able to rebuild her daughter’s health. Today Natalie is a happy, healthy child with a bright future ahead of her. Krisztina’s success in treating her daughter’s Lyme disease has inspired her to share this knowledge with other Lyme sufferers.

About Krisztina Powell

Krisztina studied homeopathy in Budapest, Hungary, her birthplace. After moving to the United States, she worked in the pharmaceutical industry for many years, reviewing and translating pharmaceutical trial test documentation from Europe.

Over the last 5 years she has developed her clinical skills. She studied Nutritional Balancing Science under Dr. Wilson, a pioneer in the new field of energy medicine. She has become a Certified Holistic Nutritionist receiving her license 3 years ago. In addition, she attended the International College of Bioenergetic Medicine.

1/28/16 GAPS Diet: Healing the Gut, Part II

On Thursday, 1/28/16,  the Lehigh Valley Chapter of The Weston A. Price Foundation will present the work of Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride in “GAPS Diet: Healing the Gut, Part II”, at the United Steelworkers Hall, Bethlehem. Doors open at 6:30pm. The presentation begins at 7. Free admission (donations invited). Ample on-site parking lot is accessible from Center St (at the equivalent of 316 Center St, if you’re googling).

This is the second part of our hugely popular presentation on The Gut and Psychology Syndrome Diet. In this second DVD, Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride will be delving into the diet itself and discussing ways to prepare foods to best heal and seal the gut.

Please note: there will be a brief recap of the Part I presentation so if you were unable to attend the Fall 2015 presentation, fear not, you can still benefit from part II.

The GAPS Diet has its foundation in the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD) created by Dr. Sidney Valentine Haas to heal digestive disorders.  Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride has taken SCD and evolved it further to create a full protocol for healing digestive disorders and subsequent issues.

Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride holds a degree in Medicine and Postgraduate degrees in both Neurology and Human Nutrition.  In her clinic in Cambridge she specializes in nutrition for children and adults with behavioral and learning disabilities, and adults with digestive and immune system disorders.

Dr. Campbell-McBride set up The Cambridge Nutrition Clinic in 1998.  She realized that nutrition played a critical role in helping children and adults overcome their disabilities and has pioneered the use of probiotics in this field. She believes that the link between learning disabilities, the food and drink that we take, and the condition of our digestive system is absolute. The results of her work have supported her position on this subject.

Farmers/producers may bring grass-fed / organic / biodynamic products for sampling or sale – check out their tables before & after the presentation (doors open at 6:30pm, presentation at 7pm). Books & Videos will be available too.
