4/26/2018 – Krisztina Powell: “Heavy Metal & Parasite Connection”

Please join us for Krisztina Powell’s presentation, “Heavy Metal & Parasite Connection,” at the Spring meeting of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation on Thursday, 4/26/2018, at the United Steelworkers Hall in Bethlehem (enter via the large parking lot in rear at the equivalent of 316 Center St). Doors open at 6:30 pm. As is our practice, our quarterly meetings are free.
Ms. Powell believes that environmental toxicity is the greatest threat to our health. Toxic environmental exposure levels of heavy metal and toxic chemicals in the air and water are up to 1,000 times higher than ever before in recorded history. Additionally, a mineral deficient food supply due to the changes in agricultural practices and depleted soils, paired with other concerns such as vaccination schedules, bacteria, viruses and electro-magnetic pollution, have led to many chronic diseases we see today.
She will discuss common toxic heavy metals in our bodies and their sources in the environment. She will also discuss the eco-system of pathogens in our bodies and their link to heavy metals. She will discuss the difference between drainage and detox as well as share many helpful tools of detection and elimination. Lastly, ideas related to maintaining a healthy body will be discussed.
Krisztina Powell is a certified nutrition coach as well as a homeopathic practitioner. Find out more about her at www.KrisztinaPowell.com.

On Thursday, 7/23/15, Krisztina Powell, certified nutrition coach & holistic health practitioner, will speak about “Environmental Toxins in Our Bodies: New tools for detection and detoxification” at the United Steelworkers Hall, Bethlehem. Doors open at 6:30pm. The presentation begins at 7. Free admission (donations invited). Ample on-site parking lot is accessible from Center St (at the equivalent of 316 Center St, if you’re googling).

About the Presentation

“According to a study by the Environmental Working Group, blood samples from newborns show exposure to over two hundred eighty-seven toxins, including mercury, fire retardants, pesticides and Teflon—exposure that occurs even before they are born. Of these, one hundred eighty cause cancer in humans or animals; two hundred seventeen are toxic to the brain and nervous system; and two hundred eight cause birth defects or abnormal development in animal tests.” – Sylvia Onusic, PhD, in Wise Traditions Journal

Environmental toxicity is a great threat to our health. Toxic environmental exposure – like levels of heavy metal and toxic chemicals in the air and in water up to 1000 times higher than ever before in recorded history, a mineral deficient food supply due to changes in agricultural practices and depleted soils, a new vaccination schedule, bacteria, viruses, electro-magnetic pollution, and more have led to a lot of the chronic diseases we see today.

Krisztina’s presentation will provide information about products to avoid in your household and what foods and herbs can be helpful to incorporate in your daily life to keep you and your family healthy. She will also discuss a program that uses hair mineral analysis to reveal body chemistry as well as Nutritional Balancing and Homotoxicology (using complex homeopathic remedies) to gently detox your body of carcinogens and other harmful substances.

Krisztina’s presentation is the featured presentation of the July 2015 quarterly meeting of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of The Weston A. Price Foundation.

About the Speaker

Krisztina Powell, CNC, HHP, who comes from a family of physicians, had an interest in holistic medicine from an early age. She studied Homeopathy in Budapest, Hungary, her birthplace. Her second child, soon after birth, presented with serious health issues, ranging from allergies, digestive disorders, and failure to thrive. After exhausting every avenue Western medicine had to offer, Krisztina knew she had to try alternative medicine. Starting with Nutritional Balancing combined with Homeopathy she slowly built up her daughter’s health over the course of 5 years, Today she is a happy, healthy child with a bright future. During the last five years Krisztina studied under Dr. Lawrence Wilson, co-founder, with Dr. Paul Eck, of Nutritional Balancing Science.

About The Weston A. Price Foundation

The Weston A. Price Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charity founded in 1999 to disseminate the research of nutrition pioneer Weston A. Price, DDS, whose studies of isolated nonindustrialized peoples established the parameters of human health and determined the optimum characteristics of human diets. Dr. Price’s research demonstrated that men and women achieve optimal physical form and health, generation after generation, when they consume nutrient-dense whole foods and the vital fat-soluble activators found exclusively in animal fats, whereas they have numerous physical form and health problems when they switch from their traditional diets to the displacing foods of Western commerce, such as foods made with white sugar and white flour, canned goods, and commercially-processed foods.

The Foundation is dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to the American diet through education, research and activism and supports a number of movements that contribute to this objective, including accurate nutrition instruction, organic and biodynamic farming, pasture-feeding of livestock, community supported farms, honest and informative labeling, prepared parenting and nurturing therapies. Specific goals include establishment of universal access to clean, certified raw milk and a ban on the use of soy-based infant formula.
