4/28/2016 Sarah Hinsch: ‘Achieving an Alkaline Environment Where Disease Can Not Thrive’

On Thursday, 4/28/16,  Sarah Hinsch will discuss ‘Achieving an Alkaline Environment Where Disease Can Not Thrive’, at the United Steelworkers Hall, Bethlehem. It is the featured presentation at the Spring meeting of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of The Weston A. Price Foundation. Doors open at 6:30pm. The presentation begins at 7. Free admission (donations invited). Ample on-site parking lot is accessible from Center St (at the equivalent of 316 Center St, if you’re googling).

Sarah Hinsch is the owner and founder of the Lehigh Valley’s own Greenmouth Juice Bar and Café. After a lifetime of eating a diet that starved her body of minerals, enzymes, and phytonutrients, thereby creating a very acidic environment in her body, Sarah began to have some health problems. She was inspired back in 2005 to take control of her life and her health by shaking off the information she had learned by growing up in the 1980’s (the “fat free era”) and perusing studies in holistic nutrition, food therapy, and other healing modalities. In December 2013 Sarah became a Certified Health and Wellness Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in NYC. She now owns Greenmouth Juice Café with locations in both Easton and Allentown.

Sarah will be discussing creating and maintaining a proper pH environment in the body by following the 80/20 rule of eating: 80% alkaline foods and 20% acidic foods. She will draw from the expertise of practitioners such as Dr. Rangnor Borg and Gary Taubes as well as touching on some controversial healing modalities for cancer. Sarah will also, of course, discuss the benefits of juicing and how you can use this powerful nutrition tool in your life.
